Machu Picchu is a tourism architecture proposal in Aguas Calientes, developed as part of a perimeter route connected to the setting of Machu Picchu.
The reception pavilion acts as a transition between the town, nature and the visitor route. Its placement responds to the topography, preserves views and organizes spaces for orientation, gathering and connection with the landscape.

Architecture built into the route
The project starts from the relationship between form, function and territorial logic, adapting its placement to the irregular topography of Aguas Calientes.
A permeable volumetric configuration keeps views towards the surroundings open and creates a continuous route between public spaces, green areas and the tourist module.
The design incorporates sheltered spaces, natural ventilation, solar control and platforms adapted to the terrain, aiming for a light, contextual architecture that engages the landscape without competing with it.
